Schmitt says:

"I have a studio with seven kilns and a variety of glass saws and grinders. In five of the kilns I do fusing and slumping of glass pieces. The other two kilns are in the “hot shop” where I do glass blowing and paperweight making. One kiln contains the crucible with molten glass and the other is used for annealing finished pieces.  I also teach all of the above."
